MISSION

The mission of the Ashland Community Hospital Auxiliary is to provide support and enhance caring patient relations.  Ashland Community Hospital Auxilians give fully of their time in many areas of the hospital.  The welfare and comfort of patients and their loved ones are of prime importance to our guild.  As volunteers, we accept our assignment with sincerity and take our responsibilities seriously.

ABOUT THE AUXILIARY

The Ashland Community Hospital Auxiliary was established in 1961.  The organization's mission was described as "one of service to patients and their families." Even now the auxiliary continues as a professional organization that embraces the values of respect, integrity, quality, teamwork and creativity.  Ashland Community Hospital Auxiliary is a member of the Oregon Hospital Auxiliary Association, a non-profit organization representing  hospital auxiliaries and volunteer groups affiliated with hospitals across the state.

FUNDRAISING

Proceeds from fundraising activities are donated to the Ashland Community Hospital Foundation and used to purchase equipment and enhance patient services.

JOIN US

We encourage all interested men and women, young and old, to become valuable members of our team.  There is no minimum time commitment.  You can work a few hours a month or a few hours a week.
