Our skilled peri-operative staff, including nurses specializing in surgery, will work as a team with your surgeon and anesthesia provider to individualize your care. This team approach results in a well planned, well managed surgical course. We take our responsibility very seriously. The complexity of surgery requires a well-coordinated effort between every team member. From the time a surgery is scheduled, through the recovery afterward, team members are focused on making sure each procedure is planned and implemented with our very high standard of performance in mind. We have many unique surgical services at Ashland Community Hospital.
- The Retinal/Vitreal Surgical Facility is the only one in Southern Oregon.
- Orthopedic Surgeons practicing at Ashland Community Hospital are leaders in their sub-specialties, including: hip replacements, arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery, and spinal deformity surgery.
- ENT, Neurosurgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery have experienced recent growth at Ashland Community Hospital
- General and Gynecological surgeries continue to be mainstays.
