The Respiratory Therapy department at Ashland Community Hospital offers both inpatient and outpatient services.  It is our goal to provide the best of care in respiratory therapy and echocardiography. 

Our Outpatient Services Include:

• Cardiac Stress Testing
• Pulmonary Function Testing
• Electrocardiography (EKG’s)*
• 24 Hour Heart/Holter Monitor
• 30 Day Heart/Event Monitor
• Occupational Hearing Testing

Outpatient Respiratory hours are 9 am to 5 pm.  Appointment available by calling 201-4060.
*Walk-In appointments for EKG's on weekdays.

Patient Preparation Instructions:

1. Cardiac Stress Testing:  Remember to wear comfortable clothes and shoes.  It may require light to moderate jogging.  Contact your physician to verify whether to use cardiac or blood pressure medications prior to stress testing.
2. Pulmonary Function Testing:  Remember to stop bronchodilators 8 hours prior to testing unless emergent use is needed.
